About The Painting
The White Lipped Green Tree Frog ( Litoria caerulea) is perched here on a Mangrove root. Non poisonous, this little fellow can be found in cool moist places including laundries, toilets, letterboxes, creeks, fish ponds in local gardens, especially tree ferns and flowerpots.
He camouflages himself so well amongst the leaves and vegetation that you often would not know he was even there but for his mating call.
I have found him clinging to my window glass in the kitchen watching my activities.
Always a wonder to behold he is my favourite of all Frog species
