About The Painting
The early morning high tide at the waterfront, is a peaceful spot to view the surrounding landscape and to take in the views across the calm waters to the Glass House Mountains before the day begins it*s busy routine.
One such place that I find very calming can be found at Sylvan Beach*s Pirates Walk. The view is stunning from that point and also further north along the beachfront.
This area is also a favourite place for Rainbow Lorikeet (Psitteuteles versicolor), to gather for a chat.
For the bird lover in all of us, it is a thrill to watch them demonstrate their quaint antics and social habits. They are beautiful, vibrantly coloured birds, but also they can be very noisy.
