About the Painting
A cruiser has anchored in the calm clear waters of Pumicestone Passage, on the waterfront at Sylvan Beach. The Glass House Mountains are captured in their entire splendor on the horizon in the haze of the summer sun. Local Crimson Rosella (Platycerus elegans), are seen regularly on the beachfront and they are a friendly social bird, eating seeds, soft fruits, nectar and some insects.
Bribie Island*s shaded sandy beaches and waterfront pathways are ideally designed for, joggers, bikes, walkers, and not forgetting BBQ, picnic*s, fishing, boating, swimming and of course, bird watching
