About The Painting
Bongaree Wharf was the original landing area for the ferry barge before the Bribie Island Bridge was built.
Over the years the foreshore has changed, along with the wharf, but it is still a much-loved iconic landmark destination for residents and visitors.
Families and friends of all ages, enjoy the clear waters, sandy beach fronts, BBQ, picnic areas and restaurants.
Fairs, circus, local crafts and fetes are held regularly in Brennan Park including the yearly, much anticipated Fireworks on New Years Eve.As the years pass this area has brought so many magic moments and memories to share.
