About the Painting
Young Alex is at the Marina having fun with his best mate Ted.
With a homemade stick and string fishing rod, Alex is trying to teach their other friend, Ducky, to learn to swim and maybe also learn some fishing skills.
Other hopeful locals on the look out for a fish dinner are the seagulls (Silver gull -Larus novaehollandiae), Harry and Mike, and joining the group is *Polly*, the Pelican (Pelecanus conspicillatus) attracted by the amusing trio and their comical antics at Spinnaker Marina.
